r* A glimpse of the past was a highlight of the recent Homecoming celebration when The Xopy Car Joseph Goldstein of Washington, D. C., brought his picturesque “Copy Cat” riverboat up the Chowan River. A reception for the Homecoming Queen and her court was held on board the vessel as a climax to the weekend’s activities. The visit of the “Copy Cat” was quite appropriate since Chowan College is observing its 125th An niversary, and during the early years of the college, students arrived in Mur freesboro by boats on the nearby rivers.
